North Wales Housing Association

Pinacl secure 5 (+3) year ICT Managed Service contract with North Wales Housing Association to align ICT planning with overall strategic vision.

As a growing organisation North Wales Housing (NWH) was developing its vision for ICT and looking for a partner committed to continuous improvement, flexible to change and who can deliver on the ICT needs of the organisation whilst providing value for money.

North Wales Housing invited companies to tender for a 5(+3) year ICT Managed Service contract through OJEU (Official Journal for the European Union). Pinacl were the successful bidder after teaming up with MWL Systems, a Wrexham based IT company, to create a bespoke solution to meet and exceed NWH’s requirements.

Early on in the transition phase Pinacl’s Operations Director worked closely with the elected Service Delivery Manager at NWH to audit their current ICT environment. This process enabled Pinacl to conduct a gap analysis to establish plans to close any risk exposure and improve overall efficiency.

In order to make the transition process as seamless as possible it was evident that NWH had an appetite to retain all 4 members of their ICT team. Our solution secured the jobs of all 4 fulltime staff who were TUPE’d over to Pinacl.

A series of round table discussions were held between Pinacl and NWH to analyse the current situation and create a future roadmap in line with budget availability. NWH stated that Pinacl showed the ability to meet both current and future needs of the organisation and share very similar values which form a strong foundation for an effective partnership.

On a day to day basis Pinacl are easy to work with, solution focused and do what they say they will do. NWH staff are very satisfied with the work of the onsite IT Team. They have a friendly, reliable, can-do attitude and this is widely recognised across the organisation
