Pinacl welcomes Gary Owen to the team
Earlier this year Pinacl welcomed Gary Owen as a Project Manager to the Operations team.
At the beginning of his career, Gary spent 13 years in the Royal Navy working as an Air Traffic Control Officer in the Fleet Air Arm.
He has since worked in various IT roles and has spent the past ten years as an IT Project Manager in contract roles throughout the UK, predominantly on new build Academies as part of the BECTA and BSF frameworks.
In 2017, Gary took a year off to complete a full time MBA at Bangor University, graduating with a Distinction in 2018. In May 2019, he was awarded Chartered Manager status by the Chartered Management Institute.
Living near the sea, he often spends his weekends on boats, jet skis and kayaks. He also has a keen interest in military history and produces reviews on military related books for two different publishing houses.
Karen Dalzell, Operations Manager: “We’re thrilled that Gary decided to return home to North Wales and join the team in St Asaph. Gary has a wealth of hands-on project management experience and is a perfect match for Pinacl – focussed on quality delivery, a natural problem solver and passionate about innovation. Gary’s settled in well and already proven himself to be an asset to the team – always ready to roll his sleeves up and get stuck in!”
